Glenbow Museum Fieldtrip

Students are invited to the Glenbow Museum for an afternoon program: Explore the Basics : Learning to See, Express and Create.

Explore the Basics: Learning to See, Express and Create (Fine Arts, Language Arts)

We live in a visual culture! Learn how to slow down, look deeply and read the vocabulary of art - line, shape and colour - in one of Glenbow’s many art galleries. Using all of their senses, students will collaborate in small groups to create a floor collage using materials that support their exploration and understanding of these concepts. The group collages are disassembled at the end of the program.
